  I never realized this surgery was so serious and involved so much care. I am still trying to fully recover and it is a slow process. Dr. Haqqani and staff have been very helpful in addressing my questions and concerns. Surgery was 2 months ago, and I had a AAA open repair. I look forward to seeing how I feel as time goes on, while working towards a full recovery. I most liked that Dr. Haqqani was involved daily with my care in ICU and he was very particular and strict following my procedure. He advised me that recovery can take 6 months to a year in full.
